Houshold Help

Appointments & Errands

We offer a dedicated accompaniment and errand service designed to help individuals maintain their independence and stay connected to their community. We provide reliable support for essential outings, including chaperoning to and from appointments, assisting with grocery shopping, and managing prescription collections.

This service is particularly valuable for the elderly, those with mobility challenges, or individuals recovering from surgery, who may find it difficult to navigate travel or manage physical errands on their own.

Companionship Visits

We offer a comprehensive companionship visitation service designed to provide regular, in-person social interaction and emotional support to individuals who may feel lonely or isolated. Handyman Services

As a subsidiary of our domestic services, we offer a handyman and garden maintenance service designed to take the burden from your shoulders. We’re here to help you keep your home and garden looking their best without the physical strain, providing expert assistance with general minor household repairs, maintenance, and flat-pack furniture assembly.

Our service also covers basic gardening, including grass cutting and general upkeep. This is particularly beneficial for those who may find these more strenuous tasks difficult to manage alone but wish to keep their property in top condition.

If you're worried about having that first clean, don't be. I have a disability that means there are loads of things I can't do around the house and the staff are so non-judgemental it was a relief that they didn't judge and were just happy to get on with it and extremely understanding. Our story!

At Ty-Mar, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals across the Bridgend and surrounding area, who need a little extra support. We offer a range of compassionate services, including Care and Support, Respite, Domestic Services, Companionship Visits, and a Befriending Service. Our mission is to provide personalized care that meets each client's unique needs, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and connected. Whether it's through our attentive care, offering a much-needed break for caregivers, or simply being a friendly presence, we're here to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

February 2024

Our Humble Beginnings

After speaking with numerous health professional colleagues, it became clear to Kirsty that a gap existed in domestic support services for vulnerable individuals whose needs were not fully met. Following months of research and development, we decided it was time to create a service that takes a holistic approach to supporting people in their own homes.
June 2024

Launch

We started off with a small team to serve a small number of local clients. Listening to the feedback from those clients confirmed that we had created a much-needed service for the community. This gave us the confidence to hire our first permanent member of staff.
July 2024

Growth

We began collaborating with other local services and were soon approached by social services, floating hubs, district nurses, and others. This has opened up opportunities for us to take on an increasing number of clients, expanding our reach and impact in the community.
2025 and BEYOND!

Expansion

Our growing client base provided us with the opportunity to expand our team, allowing us to increase staffing levels and extend our service coverage throughout the borough. This growth has enabled us to better meet the needs of our community and deliver services to a wider area, furthering our commitment to excellence and accessibility.
